Overview

Great-grandfather Heinz is Giselas Father, Heike's grandpa, Leonie's great-grandfather and recently also of Leonie Joshua. He has a hard time pronouncing the name of his little great-grandson. Leonie is easier. But no one asked his opinion. And that's not supposed to be the case. After all, Papa Jack is English and the name can also be a bit English.

Heinz is currently living temporarily in a 3-room apartment on Ringstrasse

It's actually too big for him, but nothing else was free. He had to go out on Oderbruchstraße because of the renovation. But the new apartment is also very practical. A few weeks ago, Jack's parents visited Eberswalde. They wanted to marvel at their first grandchild. They came all the way from England. And because great-grandfather Heinz's apartment is so big, they were able to stay with him. They had a whole room to themselves. It was even well equipped, because Jack and Heike somehow had to merge their two apartments, when they moved into the shared apartment on Cottbuser Strasse. And so there was even a real bed for the two new grandparents from England.

Now they are back in England. Jack's bed stays there anyway. Maybe his parents will come back soon. Heike and Gisela put some of Leonie's toys in there. They often come to him with their prams – from the Cottbuser to the Ringstrasse. And when they're with Heinz, Leonie can play a little longer before going home again.

In autumn 2023 it should go back to Oderbruchstrasse

Then there is an elevator that Heinz can take to his apartment. Climbing stairs is now very difficult for him. But maybe something will be free before then in Cottbuser Strasse. Then he moves in there – a little closer to the family.
