We are renovating - wanted an apartment in Eberswalde

These four houses are our pride - our galactic pride. It's not for nothing that we called the apartment collection the BOOMTOWN EBERSWALDE Galaxy Edition. 168 new apartments with many new floor plans. Great facades, large balconies, beautiful large windows and even in the hot summer of the century 2022 with bearable temperatures in the apartments. Four wonderful common rooms. Spacious and bright entrance areas and one elevator per staircase. Four artists who designed eight entrances. A great inner courtyard, which will finally have its large Spreewald Park with play and relaxation areas in 2023. With a digital locking system that automatically opens the house entrances and common rooms depending on the authorization. With a parking garage that offers space for many of the neighborhood's cars and motorcycles in a small space and therefore reduces parking space. Smaller and larger infiltration troughs that absorb rainwater and let it seep away slowly.

And best of all, all the apartments were already rented before they were finished

This shows that the need for great apartments is there. And by the way, the image of the neighborhood is changing. We know from many residents that they deliberately moved to the area because they want to be there when something changes here.

Four common rooms for everyone in the "Aktionsraum"

Because the wishes of each house varied greatly, we opted for themed rooms that are then open to all action spacers depending on their interests - it's co-working, a children's playground, a gambler's den and a good room for drinking coffee. Incidentally, we set up the children's playground or meerkat room together with a resident who moved to Cottbuser Straße with her family. In this way, we now want to involve our members more often. We inaugurated all four rooms with a joint celebration.

The "Aktionsraum Cottbus" as a contact exchange

This also worked well during the construction phase. Every Wednesday between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. all BRAND.VIER construction workers meet for the 1893 coffee break. A great opportunity to start a conversation and to talk about something other than dowels, brushes or cables. The 1893 coffee break has now moved to the "Aktionsraum Oderbruch", where it creates a good atmosphere at the construction site. Incidentally, 2022 was also the year of successful relocation and retreat management in the "Aktionsraum Cottbus". Because not a few wanted to go back to their apartment after the renovation. That worked out well. The next stage will start in 2023 – in the "Aktionsraum Oderbruch".
