Even if some things are still missing in the district: culture is not missing. There is a lot of that now. Whether in the Gallery "Fenster" or in the WERFT, which are now open several times a week, or in the entrances of renovated houses. There are regular ART walks. On Potsdamer Platz, the "Helle Stunde" regularly invites you to cultural formats in the morning. There is a lot to discover and we are proud that our Galerie Fenster, headed by cultural entrepreneur Udo Muszynski, is an important source of inspiration for all of this.
With these formats, WERFT and Galerie Fenster regularly invite:
– Exhibitions related to Eberswalde, the district, large settlements or rural areas (always with a vernissage and a finnissage)
– Thematic cinema evenings
– Reading circles based on the shared reading method

– ART walks through the quarter (among other things to the art in the building in our renovated BRAND.VIER buildings)

Art in architecture will continue to grow in 2023
In 2022 it was artists with a connection to our beautiful city of Eberswalde. Either they were born and raised here or they live here today. Sometimes both apply. We presented them in two issues of the magazine: Ina Abuschenko-Matwejewa and DAG as well as Gudrun Sailer and Henning Wagenbreth.
