Overview

From caretaker to state-certified tree inspector. Our Axel has turned his love of nature into a profession and has also received digital support from our new tree register. His knowledge will help us adapt the trees and shrubs on our properties to climate change, provide food sources for insects and birds, and take timely action when a large tree becomes dangerous. The digital tree register helps him with this.

Every tree over three meters high has a number under which it can be found in the register

Axel examines our approximately 2.500 trees at different times of the year and enters this in the register. Without having to search for a long time, he can see when he last looked at which tree and what he noticed. If he finds that the tree needs to be cut or felled, he can trigger an order directly from the register. The partner company sees immediately which tree is meant and also finds all the relevant information in the register. Once the order has been completed and marked as completed in the register, Axel receives a notification and can immediately check whether everything has been completed correctly.

The winter storms have caused a lot of work

At the beginning of 2022 there was also major tree damage on our properties. A total of 70 trees just fell over or had to be felled after the storm because their roots broke. Thanks to his qualifications, Axel immediately knew what to do. For 2023 he has made it his goal to find watering godmothers among our members who will occasionally supply our young trees with water in dry and hot times.
