A tourist train in the Brandenburg Quarter - this has never happened before! At least until last Saturday.

On the 23rd and 24th it was called “Building Culture Day” throughout Brandenburg. So we, the 1893, opened our doors on Saturday and showed what “BRAND.VIER” has created in the last six years.

Visitors were able to experience our BRAND.VIER project up close at seven different stations.

Among other things, the model apartment on Oderbruchstrasse attracted great interest - here we were able to show what can be made from the 0-8-15 plate. The old Halle type is hardly recognizable in the 4-room apartment.

In addition, together with Mayor Götz Herrmann, we handed over the completed Spreewald Park to the residents of the ARC. The Spreewald barge and new play equipment now invite you to a sociable afternoon with the children.

We were also really pleased about the clubs’ participation in the H15. The entire house was open to visitors and the clubs were able to present themselves and their work.

The SV Motor club also opened its sports hall and offered a lot of things to do.

Anyone who prefers art and culture won't be disappointed either. The Window Gallery in our WERFT was opened and the art on the building at Havellandstrasse 24 and 26 could be viewed.

The stations could be walked or taken with our BRAND.VIER Express. The tourist trains were well used and were an absolute highlight for young and old.

We look back on a beautiful event - with many intensive conversations and amazed eyes.
